NORTHWEST REGIONAL: Tanner leads Cold Springs at halftime

Tanner’s girls basketball team is two quarters away from another Final Four appearance.
The Rattlers lead Cold Springs 26-13 at halftime of the Northwest Regional Tournament finals.

Tanner started the game cold, hitting just 2 of 12 shots from long range in the first half. The Rattlers were able to offset their poor shooting with several transition buckets and closed the half on a 10-2 run.
With less than two minutes to play until halftime, Tanner seventh-grader Nahri’yah Timmons hit a 3-pointer, then scored after a quick Tanner steal to give the Rattlers their biggest lead of the game at 26-13 heading into halftime.
Timmons had a game-high 8 points at halftime.
