Blount County District Attorney Pamela Casey says Writesman was arrested earlier this month, and remains jailed on $885,000 bond.

An affidavit in the case said the sex abuse began when the victim was five and continued multiple times for 11 years. Casey said further information about the case is not being released.

Online jail records do not list an attorney for Writesman.
