County arrests

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests Friday. Some arrests may be previously reported, probation or bond revocations or part of a grand jury indictment:

• Caleb James Brown, 24, of 10490 County Road 92, Rogersville, third-degree burglary and two counts of negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument

• Rhett Weston Hinkle, 24, of 7672 Loveless Park Loop, Bessemer, third-degree burglary

• Karlee Patrice Hogan, 19, of 4530 Sullivan St., Madison, DUI (combined substances)

• Garnell Tarvaress McCurley, 40, of 1611 Sanderfer St., Athens, failing to pay child support and destruction of property by a prisoner

• Camron Ray Mitchell, 27, of 25451 Vaughn St., Elkmont, five counts of negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument

• Vincent O’Neal Scales, 35, of 18119 N. Jefferson St., Athens, possession of a controlled substance

County thefts

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following thefts Friday:

• ATHENS — Audio amplifier and subwoofer speaker, total value $550, stolen Dec. 6 in 16800 block Buckskin Drive

• ATHENS — Medications and three DeWalt drills, total value $121, stolen Dec. 13 on Alabama 99

ELKMONT — China cabinet and Samsung 60-inch television, total value $1,700, stolen Dec. 15 in 20900 block Tillman Mill Road
