Police: Cullman man with BB gun leads to meth lab

CULLMAN, Ala. (AP) — Police in Cullman have arrested a 34-year-old man after finding a meth lab inside his home.

Police tell al.com they made contact with Timothy Hicks Monday night after someone called police saying an armed man was walking down the road carrying a long gun. Police says the gun turned out to be a BB gun.

Police say they found a syringe and an empty baggie on Hicks after getting consent to search him

They says Hicks also allowed officers to search his home

Officers say they found a used gas generator, a coffee filter with meth, a small corner bag with meth residue and other components of a meth lab at the home.

Hicks was arrested on drug charges.

Online jail records do not list an attorney for him.
