County arrests

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests Tuesday. Some arrests may be previously reported, probation or bond revocations or part of a grand jury indictment.

• Darrell Eugene Adams, 50, of 9803 Snake Road, Athens, first-degree theft

• Stevie Charles Adams, 33, of 21270 Piney Chapel Road, Elkmont, second-degree promoting prison contraband

• Sean Heath Devaney, 40, of 14736 Hardy Road, Athens, first-degree theft

• Wesley Robinson Goode, 32, of 12266 Lucas Ferry Road, Athens, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia

• Rena Allison Moore, 33, of 13914 Stone Bluff Way, Athens, paraphernalia (sell), DUI, endangering welfare of a child and possession of a controlled substance

• Sherry Cassandra White, 51, of 25832 Jamie Lane, Athens, DUI

County thefts

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported no new thefts Tuesday.

City arrests

The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Tuesday:

• Melinda Faye Green, 45, of 5491 County Road 85, Florence, possession of a controlled substance

• Alice Gossett King, 63, of 16612 Hall Road, Athens, resisting arrest and third-degree domestic violence (harassment)

• John William King, 67, of 16612 Hall Road, Athens, third-degree domestic violence (harassment)

• Mark Dylan Stacey, 22, of 112 Swancott Drive, Madison, attempting to elude a law enforcement officer and arrest for other agency

City thefts

The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts and incidents Monday and Tuesday:

• Yamaha YZF-R6 motorcycle, value $5,000, stolen between July 15 and 16 in 20600 block Juniper Private Circle

• $1,025 stolen in theft by deception between July 10 and 11 in 600 block East McClellan Street

• 1994 Chevrolet extended cab, value $3,000, stolen between July 15 and 16 in 100 block Cloverleaf Drive

• DeWalt 18-volt battery, value $100, stolen July 16 in 17600 block U.S. 72 West

• Damage to storm door, value $125, between July 17 and 18 in 400 block Wellington Road

• Merchandise, total value $10,307, stolen between May 23 and July 13 at Wal-Mart

• Criminal mischief to vehicle paint, value $300, July 18 in 100 block U.S. 72 East

• Criminal mischief in the form of two small dents to vehicle’s driver’s side door, value $100, July 19 in 900 block South Clinton Street
