Gutless Public Service Commission
Dear Editor:
Why do we have such gutless ethics? Because those people have been on the board for so long that’s “why they can’t say no.” That sounds like a child who’s afraid he’ll lose a friend.
Well folks, wake up. Why should Chip Beeker, a public service commissioner, fill his bank account with everyone else’s money so he can lease his 45-acres he owns to a solar energy company that he can benefit from for the next 25 years? So he can collect only $225,000 a year? That’s more than a lot of us see in a lifetime and then he wants to sell the solar power to military bases.
This guy is greedy and gutless. He has no love for our state or anyone in it; just himself.
Yes, they should all be ashamed, but they don’t have any (shame). They can only be greedy and want it for themselves. There’s no shame because they can’t see right from wrong. That’s why we can’t rust any one of them.
Think of who many people are homeless. There are so many babies in families that need medical help and the elderly can’t even pay their power bills, keep their house payments up or eat decent. I’m one of those people.
If (Beeker) wants to make that kind of money, he should resign from the PSC. He can’t because all he sees are dollar signs.
But you know, they convicted Mike Hubbard and put him in the slammer for trying to make money on his own. So why should Beeker get away with his doings when he’s already made his life’s wages? He can afford to retire with no problem.
Payback doesn’t come very pleasant and and his time is coming. Karma will also be at his back door.
I hope a few people read this and do something about it for all us old folks.
Sincerely,
Eugene and Tanna Begolke
