Free shred day set for Saturday

The Better Business Bureau of North Alabama will host a free Shred Day event from 8:30 am. to noon Saturday at the Redstone Federal Credit Union on Wynn Drive in Huntsville.
Those who have sensitive documents that need shredding or old electronics to be recycled can drop them off at no charge. BBB officials will be on hand to share tips and resources to help protect your identity online and off-line.
The Downtown Rescue Mission will also be collecting nonperishable food items for their food bank.
Businesses and consumers are welcome to bring three bank boxes or garbage bags to be shredded. Three-ring binders and cardboard cannot be accepted.
