DOTHAN, Ala. (AP) — Dothan police say they’ve arrested seven men as part of a prostitution sting.

Police said in a statement that the suspects answered online advertisements and solicited undercover officers.

The Dothan Eagle reports that the sting concluded Saturday.

Police said they conduct such operations to stem criminal activity, and that prostitution frequently is associated with human trafficking and drug activity.
