Larry Dale Laxson

Larry Dale Laxson, 48 of Florida, passed away Thursday, Jan. 28, 2016, at Good Shepherd Hospice in Lakeland, Florida. Mr. Laxson was born Oct. 8, 1967, in Tampa, Florida, to William Edward Laxson Sr. and Christine Pressnell Laxson.

Services will be 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 5, at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Bill Perkins officiating. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 4, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fielding Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Edward Laxson, Sr. and Christine Pressnell Laxson; one brother, William Edward Laxson, Jr.; and one sister, Annetta Laxson.

Survivors include five sisters, Bernice Christiansen and husband Warren of Winchester, Tennessee, Evelyn Melvin and husband Ollen of Sun City, Florida, Donna Laxson and husband Bryan of Sevierville, Tennessee, Tina Richard of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Dr. Christy Franklin and husband Dave of Madison; and three brothers, Jerry Laxson of Charlotte, N.C., Stanley Laxson of Birmingham and Daniel Laxson of Tampa, Florida.
