The 7th Annual Apple Annie Golf Tournament, sponsored the The Athena League, will be held October 17 at Canebrake Golf Club. The four-person scramble format will open with a shotgun start at noon. Registration and lunch begin at 11 a.m. One lucky golfer could win a boat from Alabama Watersports in a closest to the pin shootout during the tournament. Proceeds from the tournament will go to Crisis Services of North Alabama and Hospice of Limestone County. The fee to enter the tournament is $500 per team or $125 per player. The fee includes lunch, on-course beverages, and door prizes. Cash prizes will be awarded to the winning teams in two flights, and skill prizes will be given for the closest to the pin on par 3 holes.
