Bill “Pops” and Lucille “Lucy” Ridinger of Athens celebrated their 70th anniversary Feb. 12 at home in Athens.

Mr. and Mrs. Ridinger were married Feb. 12, 1944, in Athens. They have three children, Vickie Dollar, Judy Moss and the late Johnny Ridinger, and seven grandchildren, Misti Evans, Mechelle Moss, Tabitha Mencia, John Ridinger, Shane Ridinger, Stacey Ridinger and Chris Ridinger.
