County arrests

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests Thursday:

• Jamie Alan Fay, 37, of 105 Sugar Wood Court, Madison, two counts of third-degree burglary and two counts of first-degree theft

• Edward Ronald Jones, 27, of 19541 Upper Fort Hampton Road, surety rescinds bond on previous charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a precursor

• Laura Marie Kamsickas, 21, of 15107 Knoll Drive, Harvest, possession of a controlled substance

• Drew Alexis Lavigne, 30, of 27338 Pressnell Road, Athens, drug offender (ephedrine)

 County thefts

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported no new thefts Thursday.

City arrests

The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Thursday:

• Spencer Charles Alred, 30, of 15464 Lucas Ferry Road, Athens, bond revoked on previous charge of driving under the influence

• Brandy Nicole May, 28, of 408 Third Ave., Decatur, arrested on court-issued writ for previous charges of seven counts of driving with a revoked license, four counts of switched tag and two counts of no insurance

• Steven C. Miller, 38, of 21475 Oakland Mead, Athens, DUI (alcohol)

• William Ray Morrison, 55, of Athens, third-degree theft

City thefts

The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Thursday:

• 128 pounds of copper washers and contacts, total value $1,734, stolen between July 25 and Sept. 9 in 1400 block Freeman Ave.

• Alabama license plate 44AZ992, value $20, stolen between Oct. 12 and 14, in 1200 block Audubon Lane

• Pocketknife, value $9, stolen Oct. 15 in 1800 block Brownsferry Street

• Seven cases of Bud Light beer, DVD and two photos, total value $133, stolen Oct. 13 at Wal-Mart
