The Limestone County softball tournament began play Thursday at Ardmore.

Clements defeated Elkmont 5-4 before falling to West Limestone 17-2. East Limestone, meanwhile, downed Tanner 15-0.

Ardmore will play East Limestone on Friday at 1:30 p.m. — with the winner taking on West Limestone at 7:30 p.m. for a spot in the final.

Clements, Elkmont and Tanner — as well as the loser of the Ardmore/East Limestone game — will compete in the consolation bracket as well.
