Ardmore welcomes new family medicine center

ARDMORE —The Greater Ardmore Chamber announced Open Arms Family Medicine to their community with an official ribbon cutting ceremony Tuesday, Feb. 11. 

Open Arms Family Medicine, 26746 Main Street, will be open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.; Wednesday from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. until noon. Appointments are made at 256-653-2300.  

Dr. Robyn Wilson is the primary care physician at Open Arms Family Medicine. Her specialty areas are family medicine and obstetrics. her staff incoudes receptionist Haley Lamar, nurse practitioner Ashley Bowen, nurses Brittany Miller and Wendy Collins.

Wilson is from Clay, Alabama. She and her husband, Chris Wilson, with their four children, soon to be five, call Ardmore home.  

Wilson graduated from Auburn University in 2011 and The University of Alabama School of Medicine in 2016.  She completed a Ball Memorial Family Medicine Residency in 2019 and graduated from the Rural Medicine Program in 2019.  Three of Dr. Wilson’s children attend Cedar Hill Elementary School, and her youngest child attends Bright Beginnings Learning Center. Wilson is an active member in the Ardmore community, working with the local Girl Scout troop.
