PREP ROUNDUP: Three local squads advance to Northwest Regional Tournament

Three varsity boys basketball teams in The News Courier’s coverage area recorded wins Friday night to earn spots in this year’s Northwest Regional Tournament at Wallace State.
Athens Bible, East Limestone and Tanner triumphed in their respective sub-regional games and will play in the Sweet 16 at Tom Drake Coliseum beginning next week.
