PREP ROUNDUP: Athens Bible, East Limestone boys collect area tournament titles

Athens Bible (Class 1A — Area 15) and East Limestone (Class 5A — Area 16) won their respective area tournament titles this week.
The Trojans downed Cherokee 42-41 on Monday for the program’s first area tournament crown in 16 years, while the Indians beat Brewer 71-55 on Tuesday.
Ardmore (girls), Athens Bible (boys), East Limestone (boys), Elkmont (boys and girls) and Tanner (boys) will compete in sub-regional games later this week.
