East Limestone’s varsity boys won the Limestone County Tournament on Saturday, defeating Tanner 81-45 in the championship.

The Indians (20-5) delivered a superb performance against the Rattlers to avenge last year’s close title game loss to their county foe.

Additionally, Zak Cain, Jeb Blanton, Charlie Eslick and Coleby Davis made the All-Tournament team for coach Jake Moran’s group.

West Limestone (middle school) and East Limestone (junior varsity) also won county titles in their respective divisions.

Coach Speak

“I’m just so proud of how our guys competed in the championship game. We put a plan in place — and they locked in and executed it for four quarters. We had 11 players get a bucket tonight. These guys have worked so hard all year, and I’m just happy to see them reap the rewards of that.” — Moran
