Hours: Elkmont, East Limestone, Tanner, Owens Senior Centers are open 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.  Goodsprings Senior Center is open 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.

Senior menus

Monday: Apple Juice, Meatloaf/Brown Gravy, Ranch Potatoes, Green Peas, Whole Grain White Roll, Rosey Applesauce, Milk, Margarine.

Tuesday: Chicken Vegetable Stew, Buttered Rice, Herbed Green Beans, Mixed Fruit, Saltine Crackers (4 crackers), Banana Moon Pie, milk, margarine.

Wednesday: Grape juice, smoked sausage/bun, white lima beans, okra and tomatoes, orange fruited gelatin, milk/chocolate milk, onion packet, mustard/ketchup.

Thursday: Chicken w/Mushroom Gravy, Au Gratin potatoes, mixed greens, fresh fruit, cornbread, strawberry swirl pudding, milk/buttermilk, margarine.

Friday: Tropical Juice, Spaghetti Casserole, Broccoli/Cheese Sauce, Garden Green salad, Texas bread, white cake, milk, margarine, ranch/diet Italian dressing.

Announcements

The Administrative office at 503 S. Jefferson St. is open, hours are from 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday.

If you need help with medication through a PAP/ Pharmaceutical patient assistance programs, please contact Carla Sims at 256-233-6412 for more information and to see if you qualify.

Transportation is now available for doctor’s appointments and rides to the senior centers. Call in advance to schedule.

Shopping trips are now running two days a week. Please call in advance to schedule.
