Volunteer opportunity: Storm damage relief

If you are able and willing, volunteers are needed to help with storm damage cleanup on Friday, Jan. 3, beginning at 9 a.m. at Eagle Utilities and Vault Company, located at 111 Pryor St. E, Athens, AL 35611.
You are strongly encouraged to wear long sleeves, gloves and boots. Insulation, boards and glass are everywhere — so be careful.
Cleanup organizers say it will be an all-day event, but they’ll accept help anytime during the day.
