PREP FOOTBALL: Ardmore’s Jarrett, Snider highlight All-Region Team; Tigers, East Limestone land players on honorary squad

Ardmore’s Devlin Jarrett (Defensive Skill MVP) and Jonathan Snider (Coach of the Year) highlighted this year’s Class 5A All-Region 7 Team — chosen and announced by its coaches this past week.
Jarrett, who shared the honor with Russellville’s Zay Hubbard, guided the Tigers defensively with 81 tackles, 21 tackles for loss, 12 sacks and an interception.
Snider, meanwhile, led Ardmore to an 8-3 record — the program’s best campaign since 2006.
Javean Riddle (RB), Noah Stafford (WR), Brady Sirten (OL), Dominic Murphy (LB), Dawson Pearson (LB), Skyler Jean (DB) and Gabe Alejandro (K/P) joined Jarrett (LB) as first-team selections.
Alex King (QB), Zavion Hawthorne (RB), Jean (WR), Landry Rublee (OL), Will Seabolt (OL), Ty Clark (DL), Tyler McKnight (DL), Andrew Eckstein (LB), Brayden Atkins (DB), Logan Newman (DB) and Tavien Cannon (DB) were honorable mentions for Ardmore.
East Limestone, meanwhile, had four first-team picks — Adrian Villa (RB), Davis Williams (OL), Xavier Donald (LB) and Spencer Williams (DL) — as well as four honorable mentions in Jake Cochran (QB), Laken Wilder (DB), Brantly Stinson (LB) and Landon Hart (K).
