Ardmore didn’t have any answers for Ramsay on Friday night.
And though the season came to an end for the Tigers, they will look back on the 2024 campaign fondly.
Despite the 47-0 opening-round loss, Ardmore’s Class 5A playoff berth was a highlight for the program.
The Tigers have made the playoffs just seven times in school history — with two of those coming in four years under coach Jonathan Snider. Their eight wins this season are also the most since 2006.
“This has been an unbelievable year,” Snider said. “Hats off to our seniors for their dedication to doing whatever it took on a daily basis to leave this program better than they found it. Our players found ways to get better each and every day.”
Snider and the Tigers (8-3) hope to continue the momentum of this year’s success next fall.
“We are going to miss these seniors terribly, but the legacy they leave with the underclassmen will be around forever,” he said. “We return 13 starters next year, so those guys got valuable experience on and off the field from these seniors on how to handle business.”
