Hours: Elkmont, East Limestone, Tanner, Owens Senior Centers are open 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday. Goodsprings Senior Center is open 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.

Our yearly Health Fair will be September 27, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Central Church of Christ Gym, 320 US-31 N. This event is for seniors 60 and older. Join us to “Treasure your health.” There will be door prizes, lunch and lots of health screenings and information.

Senior menusMonday: Grape juice, Chicken Broccoli Rice Casserole, cabbage, glazed carrots, whole wheat bread, Oreo cookies, Milk, Margarine.

Tuesday: Meatloaf/brown gravy, whipped potatoes, green peas, sliced peaches, whole grain white roll, yellow cake, milk, and margarine.

Wednesday: Orange Pineapple juice, glazed ham, butte beans, mustard greens, cornbread, marble pudding, milk/buttermilk, margarine.

Thursday: Taco Salad (taco seasoned beef, lettuce/cheese/tomato), corn chips, pinto beans, orange fruited gelatin, milk/chocolate milk, sour cream/taco sauce.

Friday: Orange Juice, Mozzarella Chicken, whole grain alfredo noodles, summer vegetable blend, Texas bread, strawberry crème cookies, milk, margarine.

AnnouncementsThe Administrative office at 503 S. Jefferson St. is open, hours are from 7:30 am to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday.

Transportation is now available for doctor’s appointments and rides to the senior centers. Call in advance to schedule.

Shopping trips are now running. The 1st Tuesday of each month is to Walmart, other Tuesdays it goes to other grocery stores and Dollar General. Please call in advance to schedule.
