Fall camp kicked off this past week for high school teams around the state, including several in The News Courier’s coverage area — with the season set to open August 22.

Quick Hitter: The Golden Eagles averaged 38.1 points per game last season — most in the Cody Gross era — en route to earning a playoff spot for the first time since 2020.
