Fall camp kicked off this past week for high school teams around the state, including several in The News Courier’s coverage area — with the season set to open August 22.

Key Returners: Jake Cochran, Hayden Bonville, Garrett Ritter, Laken Wilder, Brandon Titsworth, Brantly Stinson, Xavier Taylor

Quick Hitter: The Indians closed out a disappointing 2023 season with three straight wins. Will Johnson, meanwhile, takes over as the program’s new coach — just the fifth different head man for East Limestone since 1990. He recently spent time as Hartselle’s offensive line coach (2023) and Clements’ offensive coordinator (2021-22).
