According to a release from the Limestone County Sheriff’s Office, deputies are advising all individuals to avoid the Zehner Road area south of New Cut Road. 

In an earlier incident, deputies apprehended a fleeing suspect who is now in custody, but the suspect disregarded a bag containing potentially hazardous materials. 

As a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of the people of the community, the Huntsville Police Department’s Bomb Squad was called to examine the area and investigate the materials. They are currently present at the scene.
