Gunnar Lambruschi put together a strong senior season for East Limestone this past spring. 

Now, the recent graduate is taking those baseball talents to Kentucky and Brescia University. 

Lambruschi recently signed his National Letter of Intent with the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) college in Owensboro and will play for the Bearcats — now led by first-year head coach Casey Hamilton — beginning in 2025. 

Lambruschi batted .284 with a .758 OPS for the Indians last season to go along with 27 hits, 23 runs, 15 walks, 11 stolen bases, six doubles and a triple. 

“Our entire program is extremely proud of Gunnar’s accomplishments,” East Limestone coach Adam Brown said. “We truly look forward to seeing him succeed and grow on and off the field.”
