Jax State recognizes emerging scholars from Limestone County

Jacksonville State University honors high school students who have earned a 3.5 GPA or higher while completing dual enrollment courses at the university in Spring 2024.

— Addison Marie Viola Barnett of Ardmore is named a Jax State Emerging Scholar. Barnett is a student at Ardmore High School.

— Bailey Hope Bennett of Elkmont is named a Jax State Emerging Scholar. Bennett is a student at Elkmont High School.

— Kathryn Chambless of Elkmont is named a Jax State Emerging Scholar. Chambless is a student at Elkmont High School.

— Allison Diane Wilkes of Elkmont is named a Jax State Emerging Scholar. Wilkes is a student at West Limestone High School.
