In honor of National Walking Month, join us for a WALK THROUGH THE PARK. Big Spring Park (Duck Pond), May 23 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

Limestone County Council on Aging will have our Countywide Bingo on May 31, for Limestone County residents 60 plus, at Central Church of Christ Gym from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Join us for fun and games. Lunch will be provided.

Senior menus

Monday: Orange Juice, Chicken Parmesan, Penne/Tomatoes, Country Vegetables, Texas Bread, Lime Fruited Gelatin, Milk, Margarine.

Tuesday: Smothered Meatballs, Whipped Potatoes, Italian Green Beans, Sliced Peaches, Whole Grain White Roll, Yellow Cake, Milk, Margarine.

Wednesday: Apple Juice, Ham/Macaroni Casserole, Country Corn, Mixed Greens, Cornbread, Oreo Cookies, Milk/Buttermilk, Margarine.

Thursday: Creamy Paprika Chicken, Rice Pilaf, California Vegetables, Fresh Fruit, Whole Grain White Roll, Lemon Swirl Pudding, milk, margarine.

The Administrative office at 503 S. Jefferson St. is open, hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday thru Friday.

If you need help with medication through a PAP/ Pharmaceutical patient assistance programs, please contact Carla Sims at (256)-233-6412 for more information and to see if you qualify.

Transportation is now available for doctor’s appointments and rides to the senior centers. Call in advance to schedule.

Shopping trips are now running. The 1st Tuesday of each month is to Walmart, other Tuesdays it goes to other grocery stores and Dollar General. Please call in advance to schedule.
