Lindsay Lane’s season ended Thursday following a 10-0 loss to Lexington at the Class 2A North Regional in Florence. 

Alice Morrison’s sixth-inning single accounted for the lone hit for the Lions, who advanced in the bracket after splitting two games on Wednesday.

Lindsay Lane finished with a 10-14 season.

No. 6 Hatton 8, Lindsay Lane 3

The Lions came up short against the Hornets in their second game on Wednesday. 

Hatton led 6-0 before Lindsay Lane got on the board in the fourth inning following an RBI single by Dusti Jo Conn and RBI fielder’s choice by Sienna Perkins. 

An RBI single in the seventh by Kate Davis accounted for the Lions’ third run. 

Hannah Pepper notched two hits for Lindsay Lane in the loss, while Davis, Lily Jackson, Leigha Carter, Conn and Morrison had one apiece.
