Elkmont’s Corder Hobbs threw a one-hitter on Tuesday, striking out 15 in a 3-1 win over Clements.

The junior yielded just two walks and an unearned run in his 115-pitch effort.

Clay Looney gave the Red Devils the lead in the sixth inning with a two-run double before Andrew Staggs provided an insurance run with a bases-loaded walk shortly afterward.
