Jeffrey Ray Pressnell, 55, of Athens is being held at the Limestone County Jail on multiple drug and weapons charges.

Pressnell’s arrest was the result of a search warrant executed by the Limestone County Narcotics Unit and Limestone County S.W.A.T. Team March 11, 2024, in the Clements Community. During the search, officers found over $8,000 in cash, 21 grams of methamphetamine, hydrocodone tablets, marijuana, MDMA tablets, and 20 firearms.

Pressnell was out on bond for drug trafficking at the time of the arrest and is being held on a bond revocation.

he has been charged with distribution of a controlled substance-dangerous drugs, two counts of possession of a controlled substance (MDMA and hydrocodone), first degree possession of marijuana, and certain persons forbidden to possess a pistol.
