Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following thefts Saturday-Monday.

• Athens- third-degree theft, 250 ft. of copper wire, Feb. 29-Mar. 1, $1,000, 16000 block Demi Drive

• Athens- third-degree theft, black utility trailer, Mar. 1-2, $1,000, 17000 block Zehner Road

• Elkmont- fourth-degree theft, black Microsoft chromebook, Feb. 28-Mar. 3, $200, 15000 block Ft. Hampton Road

City Arrests

The Athens Police Department reported arrests on the following charges Saturday-Monday.

• failure to appear- driving under the influence

• third-degree theft of property

• public intoxication

• failure to appear- no insurance

• driving under the influence

• driving under the influence, attempting to elude a police officer, unlawful possession of controlled substance
