Tanner’s varsity boys are headed back to Wallace State.

The Class 2A No. 7 Rattlers (17-7) took down Sulligent 60-56 in a sub-regional contest on Saturday night to advance to the Sweet 16 for the second straight season.

Matt Fletcher (16 points) and Skylar Townsend (11) were the top scorers for Tanner, which will face Decatur Heritage at the Northwest Regional Tournament on Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
