Clements’ varsity girls turned in a stellar defensive effort in a 49-19 win at Winfield on Friday night. 

The Class 3A No. 4 Colts (22-9) — who notched 15 steals and 22 deflections in the sub-regional clash — now advance to the Northwest Regional Tournament, where they will play Phil Campbell or Childersburg.
