2 Limestone Co. men charged with trafficking

Two Limestone County men are behind bars as a result of a narcotics operation conducted Jan. 11, in Goodsprings by the Limestone County Narcotics Unit.

Jeremy Mitchell Tucker, 42, of Anderson and Jarrod Keith Bowling, 36, of Athens have both been charged with drug trafficking, illegal possession of a controlled substance- cocaine, and illegal possession of marijuana.

During a traffic stop on AL Hwy 99 near the Lauderdale County Line, officers found 96.9 grams of methamphetamine, 2.6 grams of cocaine, and 50.59 grams of marijuana inside the subjects’ vehicle.

Both Tucker and Bowling are being held without bond due to bond revocation.
