The Limestone County Historical Society has postponed their quarterly meeting from Jan. 21 to Jan. 28 to allow for the icy conditions to improve before the group comes together to hear guest speaker and Space and Rocket Center curator Ed Stewart. 

The meeting will begin at 3 p.m. in the Rogers Center of Athens First Presbyterian Church, with refreshments being served at 2:30. The public is welcome to hear Stewart’s discussion of the removal of the Saturn 1B rocket from the Ardmore Welcome Center.
