Monday, Jan. 15 is Martin Luther King Day, and several organizations will close to honor the day:

• Local schools will be closed.
• City of Athens offices will be closed. Sanitation will run as scheduled.
• Limestone County offices will be closed.
• The News Courier will be closed.
