Skywalker

Beddington is a big boy and is super sweet. Currently in foster, he enjoys sleeping with his human. He sits in his cat tree and bird watches during the day. He is fine with other animals who are laid back and lazy, like himself.

Princess is an adult pit mix. In foster, she gets along with four other dogs and is very affectionate toward young children. She is housebroken, crates well, zooms around a fenced yard and loves cuddles.

Skywalker is a staff favorite, very gentle and sweet. He is a lab/shepherd mix with amazing soft fur. He is gentle and truly enjoys having other canine companions. He already knows many commands and could easily be taught new tricks.

Calliope is a black and tan hound dog. She is approximately 3 years old and weighs 45 pounds. She is very sweet and playful. She loves treats and responds to any affection. She is ready for her forever family.

Fraizer is a 9-month-old Plott Hound. He is very people oriented and loves everyone. He is playful and loves toys, treats and cuddles. He is very gentle and would be fine with other animals and children. He would do well with an active family that he can grow and learn with.

The Shelter has decided to extend the “Chip My Pet” program because it has had such a positive response. You are not only safeguarding your pet, but your $20 donation supports low cost spay/neuter and rescue fees for the animals. The Athens Limestone Shelter is critically low on funds and at full capacity and would appreciate any and all donations of cash, pet food and litter. Sponsorship means that the funds are specifically for spay/neuter, medical treatment, rescue pull and transport fees. Food, litter, treats and toys can be dropped off at the shelter.
