James Clemens took care of Grissom on Thursday night, securing a 35-7 road victory to earn the Class 7A, Region 4 title and improve to 7-3 (6-1) on the season.

Cam Berry and Ty Marsh each recorded rushing touchdowns in the first half. The latter also connected with Devon Cooper for another score as the Jets led 21-0 at halftime. Ty Doughty (punt return) and London Townsend (fumble return) helped James Clemens score in all three phrases with second-half touchdowns.

The Jets are off next week before hosting a first-round playoff game on Nov. 11.
