The Athens Limestone County Family Resource Center unveiled its new logo in support of improving the lives of Limestone County families in need.

In the past six months, ALCFRC has rejuvenated the core programs – Family Solutions, Family Ramp, and Workforce Development, as well as added three new programs. The new programs– Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, Project Game Changers and Project Smile – were added over the summer and focus on helping children with their reading and life skills.

“The center has experienced a revitalization with the addition of these new programs and new staff to support them. The logo needed to reflect these energized efforts,” says executive director Emmett Moore. “We also wanted the branding to fit in with the friendly feel of the community, one that is growing by leaps and bounds.”

The logo was designed by Jackie Brown of JB Communications Group, as one of her pro bono projects for 2023.

“I’m honored to serve as a director on the board for the Center, and through that service have an insider’s perspective on the culture, services, and program participants, which helped inform the logo design,” says Jackie. “My hope is for the new branding to help prospective participants and the community at large see the Center as a place which welcomes and supports those in need.”

The new branding will be used in all marketing materials as resources allow, including a new website this fall.
