HEART Academy at Julian Newman Elementary Parent Teacher Friend organization will host the second annual color run on Friday, September 29, from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM. Friends and family of HEART Academy students are welcome to attend this fun event to cheer on students as they are blasted with color FUN during their grade-level run/walk. Opening ceremonies begin at 5:15 PM.

The HEART Academy at Julian Newman PTF has worked closely with the faculty and staff at JNES to plan this special event that will include inflatables, food trucks, silent auction, and more. The Color Run will be held on the field behind the JNES Clinton Street campus. HEART Academy at JNES relocated to Clinton Street at the end of the 2023 school year due to the planned major renovation of the former campus.

HEART Academy at JNES students are also participating in a FUNdraising competition which includes prizes such as:

● Level 1 – colorful fidget key chains

● Level 2 – color changing cups

● Level 3 – Popsicles on the Playground

● Level 4 – Silly String War

● Level 5 – Pizza Party and Limo Ride to the AHS Football Game

● Level 6 – Half Day Teacher Helper

● Level 7 – Principal for the Day
