Limestone County Honor GuardThe Limestone County Veteran Honor Guard provide the three volley salute at the recent Memorial Day service at the Alabama Veterans Museum.

Memorial Day Closings for Monday, May 29, 2023:

• All Athens City offices will be closed. Sanitation will run as scheduled. Please have bins to the curb by 6 a.m.

• All Limestone County Commission offices. Sanitation will run as scheduled. Please have bins to the curb the night before.

• The Athens News Courier office will be closed Monday.
