LLCA senior Jones selected as NSHSS member

Morgan K. Jones, a senior at Lindsay Lane Christian Academy, was recently selected to become a member of The National Society of High School Scholars. The society recognizes top scholars who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, scholarship and community commitment.

“I have been continually impressed with her (Morgan’s) outstanding character and work ethic. Morgan completes her tasks and assignments on time, and her work is always very well done as evidenced by her grades and excellent grade point average. Her academic abilities are strong. She is an excellent student who is articulate and mature,” LLCA Upper School Principal Katrina Williams said.

Morgan is a member of The National Honor Society and Beta Club. She is also in the top percentile of her class with a 4.2 GPA. She is a golf player and on the varsity bowling team.

Morgan plans to attend the University of Alabama in the fall to pursue a degree in Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Spanish.

Her family is incredibly proud of Morgan and all of her many accomplishments thus far. Morgan is the daughter of Sean Jones and Kenyata Jones of Owens, granddaughter of Mr. Thomas Lee Cain of Tanner, Dr. Reverend Wilma Carol Franklin of Decatur and the late Sandra Deniese Jones of Athens.
