Motorists traveling across the Tennessee River on Interstate 65 might face delays and lane closures today through Thursday, according to the Alabama Department of Transportation.

ALDOT announced it will close the outside southbound lane of I-65 from about 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. each day while the Tennessee River Bridge undergoes repairs.

“Please expect delays and plan travel accordingly,” ALDOT warned in a release.
