Scattered power outages have been reported in parts of Athens and Limestone County, according to the City of Athens.

Crews are working “as quickly as possible while maintaining safety” in order to restore power.

“Ice is forming on lines and tree limbs, so outages could be an issue during this weather event,” according to a post from the city.
