The siren at the Oak Grove-Thach Volunteer Fire Department and Pisgah Community Shelter, on the corner of Alabama 251 and McKee Road, is out of order due to a lightning strike, according to the Limestone County Emergency Management Agency.

EMA officer Daphne Ellison encouraged residents to have a weather radio available or download a weather app to receive watches and warnings during severe weather.
