Editor’s note: This story has been updated to reflect rescue underway by AirEvac helicopter and accident on Interstate 65.

A truck driver pulling a camper lost control and rolled on Interstate 65 about 1:23 p.m. today in Limestone County.

A AirEvac helicopter crew is on the ground and preparing to take the driver to Huntsville Hospital. 

The accident occurred in the southbound lane of I-65, just north of Exit 351, according to emergency radio dispatches. The northbound lanes of traffic were shut down to let the helicopter land and emergency medical personnel rescue the motorist.

Alabama state troopers will work the wreck.
