Athens Fire & Rescue personnel remove rescue equipment today after extricating a driver who lost control of his fertilizer truck and rolled into a steep ditch on Martin Line Road.

Ross Hargrove, with Athens-Limestone Emergency Medical Services, prepares equipment to extricate the driver of a dry fertilizer truck following a rollover wreck this morning on Martin Line Road off U.S. 31 South in Limestone County. The driver was taken by MedEvac helicopter to Huntsville Hospital for treatment. Athens Fire & Rescue personnel, Limestone County sheriff’s deputies, a state trooper and Athens Utilities workers were on the scene.
