Signal at U.S. 72 and Burgreen/Dupree Worthey to become operational Tuesday

The intersection of U.S. 72 and Dupree Worthey and Burgreen roads was the site of a fatal crash June 30, 2018.

HUNTSVILLE — The Alabama Department of Transportation advises motorists that the traffic signal at U.S. 72 and Burgreen Road/Dupree Worthey Road will become fully operational Tuesday, June 11.

ALDOT anticipates implementing the changes between 9 a.m. and noon. Over the coming days, ALDOT will observe the signal in operation and make adjustments as needed.

The signal, installed in late May, has remained in flash mode the past week to alert drivers to its presence.
