Ladies from St. Paul Catholic Church on U.S. 72 in Athens recently raffled a quilt to support Women’s Resource Center, a faith-based charity organization also in Athens. The handmade quilt was donated to the church, then raffled to collect more than $1,000 for the center. The church previously collected diapers and other baby supplies for the center.
